Google's AI will help students learn better
Google has announced that its free learning platform for educational institutions will receive a new feature that will include AI algorithms, interactive lessons, and real-time feedback. After conducting thorough market research, the company detected key issues related to the learning process and aims to solve them through the upcoming update.
First off, Google Classroom will offer an autograding tool for teachers to save their time spent on preparing practice activities by allowing them to easily upload photos from a textbook image or a PDF. At the same time, to prevent students from getting frustrated when an assignment is hard to understand, Google Classroom will suggest supportive content related to particular practice problems. Once a question is answered correctly, practice sets will celebrate the responder with lively animations and confetti.
Currently, Google is testing the upcoming feature with certain schools before rolling out the beta launch. Anyone can sign up to be a beta tester by filling out this form as soon as practice sets become available in Google Classroom. Please note that in order to register for the beta program your school will need to be on one of the premium workspace accounts.
