setup file editting software

Hi all

I bought a software that is used for switching on relays through serial port.

I want to change certain texts in the software, i can do it with hex editor after installation. But how to change the texts in the setup files itself.

Is there any software like hex edit which can be used to modify texts in the setup files (so that after installation we get only the texts we written instead of the original one).
