Topic: pdf convert to word, doc, or rtf

hi
i am looking for a 'freeware' software which will convert pdf files to word or other variety of text documents.

i googled and found several, downloaded 4 and tried them. some were freeware and some were quite cheap to buy less than $20.

the pdf files i am trying to convert are family record sheets created from a family tree software.  i want to be able to sent these record sheets to family members so they can edit the file and send back to me.
so far the conversion files i downloaded and tried did not work all that great.

if anyone has an idea of what i am trying to do, please let me know if you know of a software which will convert this type of record so the names are not duplicated and tripled and not in a uniform format.

i know this seems a little vague but if you know what a family record sheet looks like, you will know what i am referring to.

thanks

both are from Simpo
simpopdftotext is free and pretty good.
simpopdftoword is even better but costs 26.95
either way...i am so glad i finally found something suitable
and thought would share with others.

Re: pdf convert to word, doc, or rtf

Open a PDF file in Acrobat.
Click on the “Export PDF” tool in the right pane.
Choose Microsoft Word as your export format, and then choose “Word Document.”
Click “Export.” If your PDF contains scanned text, the Acrobat Word converter will run text recognition automatically.
