Topic: Unable to display some of the text

There’s a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation 2016 file that I’ve been working on for a month, most of which was written on Acer Aspire Laptop PC on Windows 8. However, after the Windows 10 update, I suddenly can’t open it anymore. It gives the following message, 'Unable to display some of the text'. A am looking for a program which can recover PowerPoint files.
Thanks

Re: Unable to display some of the text

Right-click the Start button  Windows Start button in Windows 8 and Windows 10 (lower-left corner), and select Apps and Features on the pop-up menu.

Select the Microsoft Office product you want to repair, and select Modify.

Note: This will repair the entire Office suite even if it's just one application you want to repair such as Word or Excel. If you have a standalone app installed, then search for that application by name.

Depending if your copy of Office is Click-to-run or MSI-based install, do the following.

Click-to-run

In How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Online Repair to make sure everything gets fixed, and then select Repair. (The faster Quick Repair option is also available, but it only detects and then replaces corrupted files.)

Re: Unable to display some of the text

“PowerPoint was unable to display some of the text, images, or objects on slides in the file, “filename. pptx”, because they have become corrupted. Affected slides have been replaced by blank slides in the presentation and it is not possible to recover the lost information.
