Or simply drag and drop your original database file onto the FileMaker Pro application icon. A dialog box will then appear, offering you the option to re-name your old file.

<![CDATA[conversion of DBs created with old versions of filemaker]]> Hi, for my PhD I created an articulated Database with filemaker pro v.7. Is there any way that I can access it or have it accessed to extrapolate the data onto a e.g. spreadsheet? After years I would like to get access to some of them.
