<![CDATA[Re: Software Informer stuck on startup]]> Dear Tom,

Somehow the client started working after a reboot. Still, it installed and ran fine on my desktop (i5 760).

I do not use either of the options you mentioned. My laptops are connected through Wi-Fi, if that makes a difference. The connection should otherwise be stable in both circumstances.

Thanks,
Rick

<![CDATA[Software Informer stuck on startup]]> Hello,

I just installed Software Informer on two of my laptops. On both, the client gets stuck at the startup screen where the letters get filled in, right at the last piece of the r.
http://i.imgur.com/iEnSw42.png

It happened in both Windows 7 and now in Windows 8.1. The two machines differ greatly:
Main laptop:
CPU: i5 4200U
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit fully updated

Old laptop:
CPU: Core 2 Duo T8100
RAM: 2GB
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit with some updates left

All other specs should be irrelevant.
Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!
