Topic: Main Window enhancements

Hi,

I would like to see the main window of the SI client group the non-updated applications, maybe in a collapsable tree list.

Also, it would be great if there was some kind of icon or note near a program version number indicating if it is a beta version.

Another possible enhancement (not main window specific) would be to have a first-record on the publishing date of a given version (in order to tell something like "80 days old", in the main window).

SI only connects directly to the internet but never through a proxy and it has no provision for proxy configuration. this makes the programme useless to those who work in organisations that impose a proxy setting for internet connectivity. Please correct

I've got one idea. Let us know about freeware or shareware or trial or demo to all kind software in this site.

Divx is Freeware. Anyone reading this? He has a really god point. Other updater sites provide lots of information on available open source applications, freeware, and some shareware titles. Wouldn't be hard to do: An attractive html with some flash ads/action, and a whole bunch of links! (and a little bit of legal footwork too.)
