Lords of the Fallen Comes in October
The release date of the action RPG "Lords of the Fallen" has been officially confirmed to take place on the 31th of October 2014. This is a rather bold move by the Square Enix distributor, since a number of highly anticipated games like Assassin's Creed: Unity or WWE 2K15 will also be launched on the market the same week.
Lords of the Fallen is a combat-oriented action RPG game in which you take the role of a convicted criminal, named Harkyn, who has to defeat an evil army commanded by an ancient dark god. Along with his mentor, Kaslo, Harkyn must find a way to stop the war and banish the evil forces while also trying to redeem himself for his previous transgressions.
Although the in-game graphics seem pretty decent and the storyline offers just enough changes to keep the player entertained, Lords of the Fallen will have a hard time escaping the rip-off stigmata. For many of its critics, the gloomy atmosphere and the melee combat-oriented game style make this game a bit too similar to the popular Dark Souls.
Lords of the Fallen will be released on the 31st of October for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This game may contain scenes inappropriate for children. For more information about the game you can visit the official site.
